Jumana Tours is a family business owned by Jumana and Sami Ishak who are both local Christians from Bethlehem and Jerusalem.
Jumana was born in Bethlehem, the place where Jesus was born, and she is in the field of tourism for over 18 years working with several travel agencies. Sami, on the other hand, was born in Jerusalem, the old city, near the Holy Sepulcher church, Calvary, and Via Dolorosa. The people who are living there know him by heart. He works as an Aramaic language teacher, as well as a professional tour guide with several years of experience. Both of them are blessed to be from the most blessed and most famous places in the world.
Jumana and Sami are from the few families that are still using, speaking, writing and reading the Aramaic language which is the language of Jesus back then. They always say they are really blessed that God introduced them to each other for a reason as they both have met for the first time in the Nativity Church in Bethlehem.
Life here isn’t easy, it is complicated, but united together, and they have challenged all the difficulties. They are married for almost 19 years and have 4 wonderful kids. And they are writing a book about their lives and it will be shared to all the interested ones as soon as it gets published.
